How do I make a booking?

To book a boat(s), contact one of our volunteer hirers below; however in order to spread the load, please don't contact the same person every time you want to place a booking!

Things to bear in mind...

Please remember that these people hire-out equipment on an entirely voluntary basis, so the following guidelines must be followed:

• Have all trip and group details ready to pass on to hire volunteer;
• When phoning, please try to keep calls to no earlier than 9am and no later than 9pm;
• If the volunteer agrees to hire out a boat, then arrange a mutually convenient time for collection and return (be flexible with your times and be punctual);
• Make sure you contact your volunteer hirer if you are going to be late or your plans change;
• Give plenty of notice for a hire request; two days or more (bookings will not be accepted with less than two days notice). If you want to make a booking well in advance (ie. a number of weeks/months), then that's great, however we ask that you reconfirm the booking with the volunteer hirer closer to the hire date.
